Daab, QVEST Magazine and Moonblinx Gallery will host a book launch event for Enrique Badulescu and Kostas Murkudis on October 16, 2008

during the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Enrique Badulescu was born in Mexico City and studied photography in Munich. Today he lives in New York where he has been working as a

fashion photographer for diverse magazines such as French Vogue, UK Vogue, Italian Vogue, German Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar,

Jane, The Face, Visionaire and Italian Vogue among others.  Beside that he is shooting his own assignments, as well as taking pictures for himself.

This book shows especially those private projects.

Kostas Murkudis is of Greek decent, was born in Dresden and now lives and works in Berlin. He studied chemistry at the University of Berlin before

switching to the prestigious Lette Verein School of Fashion. After graduation, Kostas Murkudis joined Wolfgang Joop for one season and subsequently

worked with Helmut Lang for seven years. After founding the brand Kostas Murkudis in 1994, he debuted in Paris with the women’s spring/summe

collection 1997 and showed the men’s collection in autumn/winter 1999. He worked as Creative Director for the Italian Brand “New York Industrie”

and also designed for the well-known German label Schiesser under the name “Schiesser-Kostas Murkudis”. Aside from his prêt-à-porter-collection,

his labels “M by Kostas Murkudis” and “Murkudis Johnstons Cashmere” are sold at department stores worldwide.
